changing blog address

  I need to change the www address for my blog from http://www.adoptionwrites.com to http://www.adoptionwrites/blog or some such-so that when people type in adoptionwrites.com they are directed to my website, not my blog.
  Help!
  Your instructions at changing-blog-address do not lead me to “change blog address” as illustrated.

  Just to clarify, you have a main website that you’d like to use adoptionwrites.com with?

  While you can’t use adoptionwrites.com/blog with a WordPress.com hosted blog, you can use a subdomain like blog.adoptionwrites.com. For instructions, please see:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/
