changing blog address

  I want to create my own domain name and also change my current address. So, rather than being bushfireprep.wordpress.com I want it to be
  mtdandenong.bushfireprep.com

  Is this possible without losing all the data and settings on my existing blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,
  When you purchase your own domain name through a domain mapping upgrade it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com blog URL is. The content stays exactly where it is. Nothing changes except the original URLs when clicked seamlessly redirect to the new domain URLs.
