Changing blog address

  Hi everybody
  I want to change my current blog address from lolzter.wordpress.com to thefootballfluke.wordpress.com. Do I really need to buy a site redirect? How will the change in the blog address affect my traffic and listing on search engines?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You have only three months’ worth of posts. I suggest you simply register the new site from your Manage My Blogs page of the dashboard and go from there.

  Only 7 Posts – just take @RC’s advice above – search engines just barely know you exist

  No. Not unless you’re getting a thousand hits a day to the existing URL.
