Changing blog address

I have a wordpress.com page where I add/remove posts, pages, media content through the dashboard etc. I recently changed the blog address by going to Dashboard > My Blogs and then clicking on the Change Blog Address link just below the address of my current blog. Inside there I did the following:
Entered the new name in the New Blog/Site Address fieldbox.
Checked No in Matching Username?
Didn’t check Yes on Discard Current Address?
Now I had to fix the links to a few subpages and to some media but all that worked out fine in the end. However, the Home Page which I do not have access too (if I recall it correctly it’s the only page you don’t have access to) doesn’t work, it refers to the previous blog address.
Basically if someBlog1.wordpress.com was the previous blog address and someBlog2.wordpress.com is the current one the home page links towards someBlog1.wordpress.com. How can I change this so the home page links towards the current blog address?
