Changing blog address

  Hi – I was wondering if I changed my address if my stats would carry over to the new one?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. As far as I know, yes. If you change the blog address, that’s basically all that changes. Your blog, with it’s theme, upgrades, followers, everything stays exactly as it is, it just appears at a different address.

  This is opposed to moving a blog, where you already have another address and you transfer your content to that address. In that case staff would have to transfer your followers and stats for you.

  I wanted the same thing yesterday, you can change your blog address!
  But you can only change it once!

  You are mistaken. You can change your free WordPress.com address as often as you want, but once changed you won’t be able to change it back to the previous one, as Timethief explained to you here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/change-web-aderess?replies=4#post-2107223
