Changing Blog address

  Hi. I had the blog address- http://www.indialawforindiastartups.wordpress.com. I want to transfer all the contents to a new blog and I would like to transfer the old blog name to another person. Please let me know how I may do this. Thank you.

  Hello @thelawbloghere
  But you can export and import contents from one site to another.

  Follow these steps to do that:
  1. Go here: https://wordpress.com/settings/export/, select a site from which you want to export the contents.
  2. Click on Export All(if you want to export everything), Click on the arrow to if you just want to export specific things like posts, categories etc.
  3. It will give you an .XML export file.
  4. Once that done, go here: https://wordpress.com/settings/import/, select the site into which you want to import the contents.
  5. On the WordPress option click Start Import.
  6. Upload the file and wait for the import process to finish.
