changing blog address help

  Hello, previously i wanted to change my blog address to mindofmyra.wordpress.com and successfully did so but it didn’t transfer my old content so I ended up deleting that one so I can try again. However as I try to change my blog address it says that the site is reserved. I was wondering if you could help me figure it out. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Blog addresses that have been deleted can’t be re-used, unfortunately. It should already be mentioned to you when you’re about to delete it. This is the help page that explains it if you’re curious: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  So for now, you will have to pick another name that’s still available. If you do that and the old content doesn’t seem to transfer, don’t do anything yet! Post a help request here and the Staff will help you.

  You can also purchase the Custom Domain upgrade and get whatever.com instead of whatever.wordpress.com. It’s a good idea when the domain you want is deleted.
