changing blog address multiple times and updating site redirect

    I am playing with name changes for a blog I’ve had for years. A few days ago, I changed the url of my blog from http://www.deepfriednuggets.wordpress.com to lovesexandmisery.wordpress.com and paid for a site redirect.

    However, I’d like to change the name again. Question: should I simply go under my blogs, select lovesexandmisery.wordpress.com, click on change blog address, follows the steps, and then update my redirect? If so, where is the “update redirect” tab?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Also, say I do all that, change the blog address to http://www.unbuckledbiblebelt.wordpress.com. Then say I like the new addy so much I want to purchase the domain, ie, http://www.unbuckledbiblebelt.com …how does purchasing a domain name factor in with site redirect?

    And finally, say I want to scrap all these names and just revert back to http://www.deepfriednuggets.wordpress.com – which I still own. Is there an easy way to undo everything? Or will I have to export/import all content?

    That’s correct, that’s where you need to go to change the blog address. After you did that I can change the redirect address for you. Just let me know when you’re ready.

    Is there an easy way to undo everything? Or will I have to export/import all content?

    If you want to move content back from one of the other blogs to your deepfriednuggets blog, then you need to export/import your content. Let me know if you need help with that.

    thank you very much – one more question before i continue: site redirect automatically redirects a blog’s followers/subscribers to the new address, correct? My stats have dropped a bit and was concerned that it was related to the change.

    Also, if I were to import/export content, what happens to my site stats page – would data from the last 4 years be lost?
