Changing Blog Address to Empty Blog

  Recently, I registered a new empty wordpress.com blog with a certain address (rkdvisuals.wordpress.com, since I own rkdvisuals.com). This was done only to “reserve” that particular address so the blog is still empty.

  Now I want to change my main blog address (rkdphoto.wordpress.com) to the address I “reserved” earlier (rkdvisuals.wordpress.com).

  The change blog address tool won’t let me do so: it says the address I want is already “taken” (by me).
  I can’t delete the empty blog because then I won’t have access to that address anymore.

  Can somebody help me?? Thanks.

  Don’t delete anything! You need Staff assiatnce to accomplish this and I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

  You can follow these steps to transfer your content from rkdphoto.wordpress.com to rkdvisuals.wordpress.com:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

  Once you do that, you can (optionally) purchase the Site Redirect upgrade from the Store of your rkdphoto.wordpress.com blog dashboard to redirect visitors to your new blog address.
