Changing Blog Authors

  We would like to change the author of some of our blog posts to someone else (we’ve had two bloggers leave the company, but we’d like to retain their posts). Please let me know if this can be done.

  Hi there!

  You can change the author of your posts through the quick edit panel. Make sure that the new author is a user on your site. Then click on Quick Edit under any post you want to change the authorship on.

  In the left column, you’ll see a drop down menu of authors. Just update that with the new author’s information and click Update.

  You can also do this through the post editor. Toward the bottom there is an Author module. If you don’t see this, scroll back up to the top and click on Screen Options in the upper right hand corner. Check the box next to Authors.
