Changing blog category

Howdy, in 2017, fresh out of the hospital after a major stroke, I started my blog. Naturally it began under the category of ‘health’, but has long ago transcended to more of a political and topical nature. How do I change from health to a different category?

  • Hi there,

I believe there is no category settings, that would be specific to your website. Do you mean maybe the default post category?

You can find a detailed support page for post categories here:

  • Hi there,

There’s no setting to categorise your entire blog. If you want to start blogging about a different topic, just start writing about the subject you want to focus on now.

If needed, you can also change you theme and site title to better fit your new subject.

This probably makes more sense to an experienced user, but even though I easily could set or change the time on my VCR as we used to say a few years ack, I’m currently not grasping some of this. I’ll just keep fiddling; perhaps I’ll stumble onto what I’m looking for some day.

    Thanks

  • If I understand correctly, you’re referring to the fact that you chose a topic when you first created your site, is that right? If so, you don’t have to worry about that; it’s not a setting that’s saved anywhere. We used to ask that to show you the most relevant options for your site.

If you want to get visitors who are interested in politics rather than in health, consider adding politic-related tags to your posts:
