changing blog domain w/o losing subscribers

  How do I transfer my blog to another domain without losing followers? My website is under one domain — kelseyksather.com — but I want my blog to be under a different name — i.e. funblogname.com. However, I do not want to lose my followers that currently subscribe to the blog domain title kelseyksather.blog.com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What we can do is just keep your site as is and just add the new domain. We just have the update the primary domain to your new one and you’d be set! Domains are sort of like mailing addresses – not really the content of your site.

  So if you already own the new domain you can just map it to your site using the Domain Mapping upgrade; however, if you haven’t purchased one you can get another one through us from Store in your Dashboard. Here’s a support guide on purchasing a new domain:

  Register a New Domain

  This would mean that all your subscribers would stay as is. You wouldn’t have to transfer them. :)
