changing blog name

My husband set up a blog for me in December, 2015 . I am just now beginning to ‘use’ it and want to change the name. My computer automatically takes me to the original name page when I write wordpress.com, so I con’t know how to change the name, or get a second blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good afternoon cloudrdr,
If you would like to change the name of the blog address you currently have, go ahead and go into the one your husband created for you. On the left hand side of the screen all the way at the bottom is “Setttings”. Go ahead and click on that link.
In this new screen, scroll all the way to the bottom until you see “Change Site Address” and click on that link. From this new screen you will see the current site address with a green button named “Primary Domain”. Click on this button.
Next you will want to click on “Edit Site Address”. This will open a new tab that may look distinctly different from where you previously were, don’t worry, you are still in your administrative area for the blog. From this new tab, hover over the address of your current blog and then click “Change Blog Address”. Fill in the new information as requested and be sure to read any of the warnings. You should be fine since you stated above that you haven’t really added much content. If you want to change the user name or keep it the same, its up to you. You can also permanently delete your current domain in place of this new one. Again, the choice is yours.
Lastly, click the button at the bottom called “Review my changes” and then follow the last few prompts to make the changes final. You should be good to go from that point. If you look like you are still in your old blog, close your browser and go back to WordPress.com to log back in. This should take you to your new site but it will depend of if you chose to delete the old one completely or not.

I see this account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/cloudreader that matches the URL of the site http://cloudreaderblog.wordpress.com/ And, it does not match the username account this blogger is logged into above. -
Thank you Darkwater 108 for very clear steps to follow. I appreciate the support towards myself as a newbie. I will follow through on this.
Timethief, I also appreciate your response, but do not understand it. What is the discrepancy with my log in? Was I not logged into my blog page when I started this forum request? Thanks for any insight you can give me.

You are welcome. I hope it works out for you. I believe timethief may be referring to you possibly not being logged in as the site administrator. If another user account is the administrator and your current user name is not, you may not be able to do the above steps. It is possible to have more than one administrator for a site but you will know if the steps above don’t work for you. Good luck and if you have any issues, just write back in this post and we will see what we can do to help out.
