Changing blog name and custom domain

  My current blog is littlemissblackbean.wordpress.com and I have the custom domain of littlemissblackbean.com. What do I need to do to change to BOTH newname.wordpress.com and newname.com? I would also like for the original domain of littlemissblackbean.com to redirect to newname.com. I want to make sure I do these steps in the right order so everything stays put. Would it be (1) cancel current domain (2) change blogname.wordpress.com (3) buy new domain & redirect service? Thank you!

  Hi!

  Just to be clear, you want the domain littlemissblackbean.com to redirect to the new domain. Is that correct? If so, we don’t want to cancel the old domain.

  It looks like you’ve changed the blog name to hermoonherstars.wordpress.com and registered the domain hermoon-herstars.com. The old blog address of littlemissblackbean.wordpress.com is still available. However, it is blank since all of your content is at hermoonherstars.wordpress.com now.

  With your current setup, if someone enters a post URL with the littlemissblackbean.com address, they’ll automatically be routed that same post with the URL of hermoon-herstars.com. You’ll need to maintain the registration for both domains for this to continue working.
