Changing Blog Title Color

  Hey there,

  I just imported my blog from blogger and I am having such frustration over the formatting! I already have a background photo that I love but with the Bueno theme (which I do not want to change because it’s otherwise perfect) I can’t figure out how to change the title color; it’s almost the same color as the photo and doesn’t show up. Am I able to do this?

  I am not experienced in CSS at all and I’m not even sure I need to be for this problem. My blog title, The Unlikely Triathlete, is coming up as all one word, THEUNLIKELYTRIATHLETE, and I don’t know how to fix that either.

  Also, I tried using Typekit but the theme wasn’t listed on the little list when you go to publish it and I don’t know what to do.

  All of the imported posts have lost the spacing between paragraphs and when I manually went in and changed it, it changed right back.

  Sorry that I am posting so many questions in one place but I have been trying to figure it out for the last 4 hours and finally lost my temper.

  It would take the CSS upgrade. If you put this into the CSS edit window (after deleting all the informational text that is there and click preview you can see the result). Oh yeah, and change the hex color code. You might have to force refresh the preview page as the preview function has been finicky lately.

  On the paragraph spacing issue. Open the post in the editor, select all the text in the post and then from the “format” pulldown to the left end of the lower row of toolbars in the editor, select “paragraph” and it should give you standard paragraph spacing. Then click the “update” button.

  To edit the title, go to settings > general in your dashboard. Make sure save after making the change.

  oooooh, poopies. Damn CSS upgrade!!! I guess I will be staying at Blogger for a while longer.

  Is this the solution for each problem? Is there NOTHING I CAN DO???? **sobs**

  You can change colors for text in posts or pages (content) using HTML in the editor, but for changes to the theme elements, it takes the CSS upgrade.
