changing blog title to a image

Add topic to favorites
Hi all,

I know this has been already solved, but since I´m newbie and tried what it says here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/bueno-replace-blog-title-with-image?replies=4 without a positive result I´m requiring your help.

I copied and pasted the following in the CSS stylesheet editor with the option “Add this to the [your current theme] theme’s CSS stylesheet”

#logo {
background: url(“http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii47/Gus-Strom/xloscaminosdelsur/portadatikal.jpg”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
width: 376px;
}

.site-title a:link, .site-title a:visited {
color: transparent;
}

Then I clicked on preview without any change!

Please advice on this.

Force refresh the preview page and see if that does it. The preview page has been flakey lately and doesn’t always reflect the changes you’ve made.

Still not, maybe it´s a matter of the stylesheet?

Those instructions in the thread you reference are for the Bueno theme. You aren’t using Bueno. CSS is theme specific. Each is different.

#header h1 {
background: url("http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii47/Gus-Strom/xloscaminosdelsur/portadatikal.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0 60px transparent;
height: 177px;
}
#header h1 a {
color: transparent;
}
```
Also, it is a bad idea to host your head image off-site. If photobucket has problems or goes down for any reason, you have no header. Better to host it here at wordpress.COM in your media library (that is your photo or at least you have permission to use it, right?).

If you face any problem in Force Refresh….I think, you can change your browser and do the same procedure again. Hope it will give you result.
