Changing blog URL Address to blog address already in use by me.

    I am seeking to change my blog address A1 to B2. I have done this a few times and know the steps. However I have a wrinkle to consider. I have already created blog B2 address, it is a completely empty blog. I want to change my used blog A1 address to empty blog B2. Essentially fold blog A1 into B2. However when I go to change blog address for A1 it tells be that blog B2 is already in use (by me).

    Do I have to delete empty blog B2 then transfer blog A1 into a new address named the same as B2, essentially creating a brand new blog B2?

    If i delete empty blog B2, will I be able to create a new blog with same address as B2 immediately?

    With all the warnings about deleting a blog I am worried if I delete empty blog B2 that I will Not be able to create a new blog with same address as B2 when transferring used blog A1 into new blog B2.

    I hope you all understood all that and any comments and help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Problem Solved: Transferring blog A1 content into blog B2. Discovered that I could “export” blog A1 content then “import” the content in B2.

    IMPORT information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

    When I “exported” blog A1 a zip file was saved on to my computer and then I extracted the xml on to my computer. Then I imported the xml file into blog B2. Was uploaded the transfer process took about 15-20 minutes (depends on how big the blog is).

    Some of the setting had to be changed, and widgets especially photos, had to be reworked. But the process was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Hope this helps anybody in a similar situation.
