Changing blog website name
-
Hello. I made a mistake about the name change. My main purpose was to change my site name from theaspiringstylist to coralsandpaisley. But somehow I actually made another blog and put that name on it thinking that was how to change the name. So I now had two blog websites. I found out that was the wrong way so I deleted the coralsandpaisley blog. And now I figured out that if I go under the “My Blogs” tab and hover my mouse around the title “theaspiringstylist” it will say change site name. But now when I changed it to coralsandpaisley it told me that the name already exist but it’s because I created that second blog minutes ago which I didn’t mean to at all. (that’s the new blog I deleted) Now I’m stuck with the first name. Is there any way I can change my site name it to coralsandpaisley?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, I think that staff can help you with this issue, so I added a “modlook” tag to this topic.

Unfortunately, as you deleted the site, coralsandpaisley.wordpress.com there is not a way for you to reuse that name. When a site is deleted it permanently removes the name from being able to be used for another site.
You will be able to rename theaspiringstylist.wordpress.com to any available address (an addresses that has never been used by a current or deleted site) by following this guide:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/Another option is to keep the WordPress.com subdomain, theaspiringstylist.wordpress.com and upgrade to custom domain such as coralsandpaisley.com (which is currently available to be registered). If you would like to add a custom domain to your site you will be able to follow this guide:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/Note, there is a fee for adding a custom domain.
Hopefully one of these options will work for you.
