Changing body paragraph font size

    Hello,

    This will most likely sound like an unbelievably stupid question to most of you, but I am completely new to CSS and have been unsuccessful in trying to figure this out on my own by reading and researching, so I must be missing some key information.

    It has become part of my job to manage and maintain this site (http://womeninrelo.wordpress.com), in which I unfortunately have absolutely zero previous experience, and would greatly appreciate any help that you would be able to give. The one thing that I am trying to figure out how to do is simply change a paragraph’s font size. (The specific paragraph being the one on the hom page beginning with: “Our next meeting…”). I am using the Twenty Eleven theme, and need this body paragraph to stand out from the rest. (My boss does not seem to like making it a different color, or bolding it, which I could do easily, but instead wants it to be a larger font). Is there a way to do this, or possibly even a specific tag that I could put into my CSS editor that would make this happen?

    Again, any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize for asking such a silly question. I’m completely out of my element!

    The best way to do this in directly in the page editor since you are not wanting to change all the text to a larger size.

    Open that page in the editor, switch to the “text” tab in the editor and put this at the beginning of that paragraph and adjust the % font size as you desire:

    <p style="font-size: 100%;">

    And then put this at the end of the paragraph:

    </p>
