Changing Caption Text Color

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve recently switched to using a slideshow to display my photos. With single images or with a gallery the caption is diplayed in the border under the picture so that the text is very easy to read. When using slideshow, however, the caption appears within the photo itself and depending on the background of the photo, the text can be almost impossible to read.
Is there some way to change the color of the caption text for an individual picture, or even all pictures? I use the visual editor, since I don’t know html, but I’d be willing to try to figure that out if needed. I’d rather not use an outside slideshow generator, but if that’s my best bet let me know…

    Thanks!

No I’m sorry but we cannot change the font on Captions.

Just to be clear, I want to change the color, not the font.
To me, these are different, so I just wanted to clarify.
Sorry to be nit-picky. Thanks again.

Yes I did understand you. The Caption field for images is not HTML activated so coding in a change of font color will not work. I’m sorry but this is a no can do.

Cool. Again, sorry to be difficult, but thank you for your help and your clarification!

Clarity is essential and you were not difficult. I’m sorry I wasn’t the bearer of glad tidings. Happy blogging. :)
