Changing Caption Text Size – in Pique theme

    Hello

    I am currently trying to resize the caption text to make it larger and more prominent – both when hovering over the images and, more importantly, in carousel view.

    I have tried various CSS code in the customizer that I have found in other forums but nothing seems to be working. Can anyone help out with CSS that I can use to sort this?

    Hi there, for the gallery captions, add the following and adjust the size and weight as desired. The !important keyword is needed in this particular instance to override the original CSS. 400 is about a mid-range font weight. 800 would be bold. It only accepts hundreds, like 100, 200, etc. 800 would be fully bold. You can also replace the 400 with bold if you wish. 

    .tiled-gallery-caption {
    font-size: 13px !important;
    font-weight: 400 !important;
}

    On the carousel captions, there is no way for us to increase the size of that. The way they have done the font size in Jetpack, we can’t override it.
