Changing Color

  Hello!
  I have a “Contact Me!” button on my Welcome and About Me pages. It is currently red, but I would like to change the color to an orange that coordinates with the orange in my photo. I have tried putting in the color code from the color chart at “lissaexplains.com/color.shtml”, but the color on my page didn’t change. Can someone help me?

  I am very elementary at these techy things and language, so would really appreciate some help! Thanks!

  Hi there,

  Since you want an orange color from the image (which you like), I cannot give you a specific code but I can help you to find it.

  If you’re using Google Chrome, right click on the button and click on Inspect.

  Now you have to click on that orange box (exactly between background and #F63 as shown in the image below) –

  Now you can move the cursor to any point in the page and the picker will pick the color for you in real time.

  If you don’t get any of that, then here’s the color which I think looks good (picked from that image)
