Changing color and the font size in Hatch theme

    I am using hatch theme and the site is… http://travelindiaadvisor.com/.

    As you see the gray is not very well visible and I want to change it. I followed a tutorial in Google and went to…
    edit theme/hatch: style sheet (style.css) and change the color from #888 and #aaa to #000000 and it is not changing to black.

    Any step by step help is appreciated. I am new and this is my very first website. First to change the color and then the fonts

    That is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It is a powered by WordPress>ORG software install running a different version of the Hatch theme than the one we have at WordPress>COM.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
