Changing Color of Link Text

  I recently customized my theme, Chateau, with new colors. But now when I provide links in the body of my post, they come up almost the same color as the background until someone hovers over them. How can I change the color of linked text, universally, throughout my blog? I’ve tried accessing my CSS sheet, but can’t seem to get to that either.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I checked http://whisksandwords.com/ and I found an example of a post with the linking it at http://whisksandwords.com/2013/06/27/the-peoplehood-of-our-food/

  To change the link colors inside post, you could I don’t like this:

  .post-entry a {
  	color: #936;
  }

  However, to change every single element that uses that same color code, you can add this longer rule:

  #main-title #site-title a:hover, .post-title h1, .post-title h1 a, .post-extras .post-edit-link, .post-entry a, .post-entry .more-link:hover, #author-description a, .more-posts .page-title em, #more-posts-inner a:hover, #comments li a:hover, .comment-text p a, .comment-text .reply-link a:hover, #comments li.byuser .comment-author, #comments #respond h3, .sidebar-widget a:active, #calendar_wrap table td a, #nav-below a:active, #error404 a:hover, #menu .current-menu-item > a, #menu .current_page_item > a, #comment-nav-above a, #comment-nav-below a, .comment-text table a {
  	color: #936;
  }

  I will also report this issue to the theme team, because I think the color palettes should work better for this theme without having to make modification like this.

  Thanks for that help and for reporting the issue. Where would I post that longer rule? In the Stylesheet for the entire blog? And if so, where do I find that? (I’m sorry, I’m very new to tinkering in the back end like this.)

  You can add CSS to the Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS panel in your blog dashboard.

  Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have made some adjustments to Chateau so that links and other elements of the theme work better with the color palettes. If you notice any other weirdness, please let us know.
