Changing credit card for auto-renewal on a different user

The wordpress blog I administer is set to auto-renew. However, the credit card that will be used is from someone who doesn’t work here anymore. I can’t seem to find the option to change the credit card details on the subscription without having to upgrade which is not acceptable.
How can I change my credit card details entered by another user?

Hey there,
When you visit your Manage Purchases page there should be an option to “Edit Payment Method”.

If you have nothing on your Purchases page and no billing history, then what is set to auto-renew?
When you view your Billing History on your purchaces page you should see a section on the bottom which reads “Manage Your Credit Cards”. There should also be a blue box which reads “Add Credit Card”.
If there is no card on file, then you might be logged into a different account. Is this possible?

A former employee set up the billing but I am the current Administrator. He is getting notifications from wordpress about charging his credit card. I can’t change the credit card associated with the blog. So I had never entered a credit card before or made a purchase – when I select the current plan for the blog it just tells me that it is set to auto-renew! I don’t get prompted to enter new credentials.

It seems to me that the former employee set up the main account (site) with their credit info and then added you as an administrative user on another account. I’m not sure, but is that possible?
If you are using the same account, meaning that you log in with the same email and password as the former employee, then you should be able to see and change the credit information on the purchases page under “Purchases” or “Billing History”. If it’s a different account then you won’t see it. The former employee would need to do it them self and perhaps transfer ownership of the site to you.

I don’t want to lead you in the wrong direction as I may be missing something so, to not further delay solving this issue, I have tagged this thread with MODLOOK. This means that a staff member, who has access to your account, will sort everything out.

The advice, @brianzed gave you is spot-on. The Premium Plan on your site, and in fact the site itself, belongs to the username, bsoremsugar
The owner of that account will need to log in and then either post here to request we transfer the Premium Plan to your account, or they can transfer the entire site along with the upgrade to you according to the instructions linked above.
Once your account owns the upgrade you’ll be able to make changes to the payment details.
