changing date and time

The date and time are wrong on my first post. It is around 10pm on Friday 11/27 and my first post says that it was published on 11/28. I am using this site as a journal and the actual date is my blog title and it looks wacky if it doesn’t match my posted date. I can’t seem to figure out how to change it.

To confirm your timezone is correct know the default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.
Know that scheduled posts do not actually publish until a visitor clicks into the site after the scheduled date and time.
You can edit the post and change the datestamp and timestamp and click update. These images may be helpful:
