Changing Date Format in Page/Post Dashboard – Not Website

    This isn’t about changing the date on the website, but changing the date display on the dashboard. Currently for pages/posts is ‘Published 2018/09/17’ I’d like to change this to ‘Published 09/17/2018’

    You can change date format from your website dashboard.

    Dashboard > General Settings> Date Format > Select format

    I assume you’re talking about the far right on your wp-admin Posts/Pages dashboard. I’m pretty sure that can’t be changed (unless it was done by WordPress.com themselves, which would change it for every single site on the platform). The only changes that you can make are the settings described above which just affect the date format visible for the posts on your site.
