changing default language doesn’t work

    Hello,
I am from Romania, and I want my blog to be counted in the romanian blogs – that is, to appear on the botd.wordpress.com in the romanian language blogs list. However, I can’t seem to do that – I have updated the language from my dashboard, as well as the profile language from the global dashboard and there are no changes. I still get the general view (english blogs) and English is still marked as my preferred language (although I do select ‘ro’ from ‘More Languages’).
Is there anything I am missing?
    Thanks a lot,
    Dorin

From what I understand, when the language doesn’t change in your dashboard after you’ve applied the change it means that WordPress doesn’t have a complete translation file yet. If that’s the case then I don’t think there’s much you can do until more of the translation has been added. It’s voluntary, though, so if you felt like it you could always help. :)

Maybe you could check and make sure you definitely updated all your settings again as well, and try it in a different browser to see if that makes a difference. But I think it’s more likely the file, and unfortunately there’s not much you can do about that.
