    Quick question which I hope can be easily answered.

    Using Theme: Dyad

    When I go to a category page, I would much prefer it to not say Category: “category here”

    How can I get rid of the initial default words there so that just my actual category title shown.

    <h1 class=”page-title”>Category: “category here”</h1>
    ^^^^
    How do I access that!!!

    https://wordpress.org/support/theme/dyad

    You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/register.php

    Be sure to provide a link to your site when you post so people can help you more easily.

    You’ll be able to remove the word “Category” in a child theme and we’ll be glad to help you there with the code needed.

  • If you do have a site running Dyad here on WordPress.com — and not the one at sagasonline.com — you can hide the entire category heading with CSS:

    .category .page-title {
      display: none;
    }

    Here on WordPress.com you’ll need a Premium or Business plans to add custom CSS.
