Changing Domain

  I would like to change my domain to match the one on my website, without the wordpress.com on the end.
  What is the easiest way to delete the old domain – my domain is registered with Go Daddy already.
  But I can’t put it in because – It says someone is already registered.
  Is the $17 fee for one year – its says per blog, I assume that includes changing blogs monthly?
