Changing domain

  I have another blog which I was easily able to change to a .com site (i.e. itsactuallythatdeep.com) by paying £15 a year. I want to be able to do this for this blog to make it catchingvibes.com but it won’t let me do this without asking me to pay £85 instead of £15. The domain is available I just don’t know how to change this.

  Domains are no longer available for purchase individually.
  An active WordPress.com plan is required to add a custom domain to your site. Each plan comes with one free domain registration.

  You can register as many additional domains as you want on the same site, but you have to pay for additional registrations separately.

  Hi,

  Thanks for your help :).

  I just wanted to know why I can add this domain (catchingvibes.com) to an existing wordpress (itsactuallythatdeep.com) account for £15 a year but not a new one?

  Am I able to buy this domain and then delete my old one?
