Changing domain

Hi, I would like to change my domain to http://www.accordingtojess.com instead of my current domain which has .wordpress at the end. Please could you let me know how to do this and also, once this is changed, will people still be able to access my articles with the previous links used?

It looks like you already own accordingtojess.com as it is currently redirecting to your WordPress.com site.
Since you already own a domain name, you can map it to your WordPress.com site.
You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain.Once you map the domain, all visitors to your .WordPress.com site will be automatically redirected to your custom domain.

Yes I do own the domain accordingtojess.com which redirects to my wordpress blog. But I don’t want it to redirect, I want it to always be accordingtojess.com.
But I still want my previous posts to be accessible through the links that they are now, as a few of my conservation posts have gone viral and it is important that they are still there when the article with the current link is being shared. -
