Changing domain

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a site hosted by wordpress, fitprana.com. But just recently I changed the domain into fitprana.ee. Now I can’t get access to my site when I log in to wordpress. How to make the needed changes?
    Thank you in advance,
    Ketlin Kuuskne

  • Hi Ketlin!

fitprana.com / fitprana.ee appears to use the WordPress software but is hosted with another company. In order to get help with your website and domain, we do suggest contacting either your host’s own customer support, or alternatively the community forums of WordPress.org:
    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

To clarify, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com. For reference, you can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

That said, it sounds like you may need to update the site URL settings, if you have not already done so:

Thank you for the reply, but that does not help me.
Is there an option for personal support? I would send screenshots of the view in my browser.
I cannot sign in to my dashboard, it says “Error for site owner, invalid domain site key”.
So I can’t get access to any settings at this point.

Thank you in advance, waiting for a guidance to personal support!

Those links should help you. You’d need to register an account to post in the .org forum though.

Only if you are prepared to move the hosting of your sites from where they are now to here at WordPress.com.
