Changing domain

    I upgraded our website today, however I have been informed that we would actually like a .co.uk domain but I have already purchased a .com domain, is there anyway to change our domain to .co.uk?

    Hi there,

    The way domains work it is not possible to change the spelling, but I can cancel the .com domain you purchased and reset your plan so you can add the .co.uk version instead.

    Before I proceed, do you confirm that you wish to cancel thecraftsworkshop.com? You will lose ownership and control over this domain, and it will be returned to public resale, so I want to be sure.

    Okay. I’ve confirmed the desired domain is in fact, available. Go ahead and register that now. Click on My Sites – Domains – Add Domain. Write back once you’ve done that and we can double check everything is set up properly. The unwanted domain has been cancelled.
