Changing domain from WordPress.com to WordPress.org blog
-
I upgraded my blog to a wordpress.org site. It is a different blog, but I would like my wordpress.com domain to point to my new wordpress.org blog. Under My Domains, they are separate blogs so I cannot make one primary, but I would like to move my wordpress.com blog to my wordpres..org blog. Thanks in advance. My URLs are thestorychanges.wordpress.com and storychanges.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi raebird,
You should be able to change the nameserver settings on your WordPress.com domain to point to your new host.
Here’s a support article that shows you how:

Thank you but that does not show me the “Edit” button next to the WordPress.com domain so I can update it to my new website.

Ah, storychanges.com already points to your WordPress.org blog, yes?
You’ll have to purchase a Site Redirect upgrade if you want thestorychanges.wordpress.com to point to your new blog as well. Here’s a support article that tells you more about the upgrade:
