changing domain mapping
-
I would like to map my blog to this domain: http://www.peachierecordings.com I had it mapped previously to peachieproductions.com. I already upgraded for a domain mapping, I have just purchased another for 13$ can you now delete peachieproductions.com and refund me for peachie recordings.com? Thanks, Natasha.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can transfer an upgrade from one blog to another blog as long as both blogs are on the same account, as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#transferring-upgrades

I’ll also tag this thread for Staff assistance in case I missed the mark above. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

If the entry I linked to above does not resolve your issue then I think what ought to be done is for you to request a refund from your dashboard for the first domain mapping purchase and then purchase a second domain mapping upgrade for the other URL.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refundsIf applicable also see http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles/#canceling-a-bundle
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

Hi peachie2013 ,
Right now I see you have one blog, peachieproductions.wordpress.com, with the domain peachierecordings.com mapped to it. It may be that you’ve already resolved your issue based on timethief’s assistance, but if you want something different, can you please explain further what you are trying to do?

I have signed up for hosting at websynthesis.com and I purchased my domain from wordpress. Web synthesis does not host dns and informed me that I have to point the “A” record to my new ip address I can’t seem to find instructions for this
