Changing Domain Name

  I am working on building a site…the address is currently http://www.southcoasthearingcenter.wordpress.com

  I would like to change it to read http://www.schc.com. How do I do that? I know i need to upgrade to take the .wordpress off, but I can’t seem to see the best way to do that.

  If you already own that domain, then you’ll want to follow the steps explained here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  Otherwise, you’ll want to find an available domain name and register it directly on WordPress.com:
  http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/
