Changing domain name

  Dear administration

  I would like to rename my existing domain (denysirzhevskyi.wordpress.com) to this: farway.wordpress.com.
  I have just tried to do that

  here: http://denysirzhevskyi.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=name-change&address=1&_wpnonce=cfd09002b5&blog_id=21783479,

  but system told domain is not free.
  If you check this link:

  farway.wordpress.com – author deleted this blog.
  Could you help me ?

  I’m sorry, but we do not reuse or reassign deleted blog names on WordPress.com. You will need to select a different blog name. For full details, please see:

  There is one other option available to you, though. You can purchase a domain name and map that back to your WordPress.com blog. In that case, nobody would ever see the underlying WordPress.com URL. They would just see your purchased domain. For full details, please see:

  I just have read links above.
  I would say it illogical site policy.If somebody decided to delete his own blog. I am pretty sure, before this action wordpress.com will ask million times ” Are you sure you want to do this action? This action is unrecoverable! etc…”
  And after all this you still give a chance to recover deleted pages. Why?
  Probably, someone else have a brilliant idea and he needs to use deleted domain’s name. I think you have to ask, by mail or any over way, previous owner of domain and in case he doesnt need his blog anymore you should give a chance to person who knows what to do with that domain’s name.
