Changing domain name

  Hi!

  I’ve tried to figure this out on my own…and might have, but my blog isn’t up and running properly. My blog was fitandflowyoga.com and I’d like to change the name to yogadear.com. I purchased that domain through GoDaddy (like I did with the fitandflow one) and tried mapping it through WordPress. I updated the NameServers at GoDaddy, too, and updated the primary domain at WordPress. It said it might take 72 hours for the blog to be up and running – I basically want all the content the exact same, just new blog name and new domain name. Is there any step that I’m missing for this to work? I appreciate your help!

  You’re right — it can take up to 72-hours for changes to name servers to work correctly throughout the internet.

  That’s a pretty common thing after domain mapping — that at first everything looks like it’s working perfectly, and then it doesn’t….and then it does!”
