Changing domain name affects stats?

  Hi,
  I recently changed my domain name from shabnamphoto.wordpress.com to shabnamphoto.com My observation is that the average visitors to my blog has drastically reduced. Also noticed that the accuracy of the stat bars are questionable. Though the countries chart may show 4 geographies, the stats bar summarizes the visitors as 2. Kindly let me know if I’m missing something here. Thanks in advance.

  Hi,

  I think if your previous .wordpress.com site is already pretty popular, then there will usually be a drop in visitor when changing to a custom domain. There are various reasons for this, which you can read in more details in these forum threads:
