Changing domain name at renewal time

  When it comes time to renew my domain name subscription, can I change the domain name to something else, or do I need to keep the one I currently have?

  You cannot change the domain name you have at renewal time (or at any other time). Your only option here is to simply purchase the domain name you want, which is covered in this support guide:

  Register a New Domain

  You could always let the one you have expire and then switch to the new one if you’d like. More on cancelling domain name upgrades is here:
