Changing domain name for blog

  Hi — I will be purchasing a new domain name for my blog and would like to know how to map the new name while preserving links to the old domain name (at least for a while). I saw the article online about doing this when moving from a wordpress.com domain name to a custom domain, but am not sure if this applies moving from one custom domain name to another custom domain name.

  Actually, once you map a second domain to your blog, all traffic will continue to redirect to whichever domain you set as primary via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard. There’s nothing else to worry about.
