Changing Domain Names

I would like to change my existing wordpress domain name and I want to know how I can set things up so that my preexisting links on forums and other blogs and social media are still able to redirect properly to the new domain name.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can set up a Custom Domain to your domain comfortably, there are a couple of ways, if it’s a new domain you can register it on WordPress or if its an Existing Domain you can map it here too. You can read about it more here Domains
One’s you set it up as your Primary domain, all the clicks will be redirected to your New Custom Domain name.

Hi! I’m going to jump in on this. If I change the domain name by getting a wordpress plan, will all of my followers and links to blog posts within blog posts automatically transfer? Do I have to do anything special to map it?
I read the page you linked to but am still fuzzy on it. Please and than you!

One’s you have a Custom domain, all your links followers Blog posts will remain as it is, you don’t need to do anything else. Just make sure you follow the steps while Map Your Existing Domain
Just be sure to do the linking correctly, also note you can have a Custom domain with any Plans
Even a Personal can work for it.
