Changing Domain when Upgrading

  I was trying to upgrade my blog to a premium membership. Whenever I attempt to upgrade, it automatically chooses the domain name of my blog subdomain. For example, if my blog subdomain is xxx123.wordpress.com it chooses xxx123.com. I want to upgrade my blog, but with a different domain.

  Just to clarify, do you already have a domain name? You want to change the domain name of your existing site? Or are you creating a brand new site?

  No, I have not purchased a domain name yet. I have already a free blog which comes with a subdomain. (i.e xxx123.wordpress.com). And I want to upgrade my blog to a premium plan, however I am unable to upgrade to a domain of my choice (i.g. awesome-security.com). It automatically chooses xxx123.com which is similar as my subdomain name.

  You shouldn’t have problems adding the domain of your choice. When I accessed your account, this is was I see:
