Changing domains

  Is it possible to switch from pink-shed.com to fromthepinkshed.com without purchasing an additional domain name? We decided this would be a better site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  if you have upgraded your plan to have a personal domain name, or you even want to keep the wordpress.com free plan, you can change your domain name as long as it is available to be used. if you upgrade you get one domain and any others are going to be an additional purchase. the reason is that you are essentially purchasing a new domain every time you make the change so you have to pay for those additional changes. in the link, I included below it will detail more information that you can read up on.

  Sure! You would need to purchase fromthepinkshed.com, using these instructions:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/register-domain/

  Once it has been purchased, you can set it as the primary domain for your site. If you set fromthepinkshed.com as your primary domain but also decide to keep pink-shed.com aswell, pink-shed.com will redirect to fromthepinkshed.com. There is more information here:

  pink-shed.com is owned by the user ‘michelelafollette’ — only they will be able to manage this domain. If you decide you want to cancel pink-shed.com, they will need to do so.
