Changing domains

  I purchased the domain http://www.katherina.site via my hosting service Bluehost and would like to change motokaki.net to it.

  Correct account: Yes

  Since your site is hosted by Bluehost, we are unable to help you with this. To clarify, we are WordPress.com, a different hosting service provider from Bluehost, where you host the WordPress.org version of WordPress.

  There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.

  Different hosting providers have different ways of changing the domain on a WordPress site. With us at WordPress.com, it’s as easy as registering a new domain and changing the primary address. However, Bluehost may have a different set of instructions for changing the domain.

  Please contact Bluehost support for assistance regarding this. You can post on the WordPress.org support forum as well, but I suggest contacting your host first.

  On a separate note, we recommend using a backup solution before you make major changes to your WordPress site. For WordPress.org sites, you can consider Jetpack Backup.
