Changing E-mail address and Users

I created a blog for a friend using another e-mail address of mine because I did it on my own time.
Once my friend and i sat down, i changed everything to her name, her e-mail address, her username and password etc…
Why am i still getting e-mails about this blog of hers?
She has changed the username, gotten the e-mail confirmation and i am still getting e-mails.
should we just delete that one and restart entering only her information?

NO! Do not delete the URL.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

That blog owner is the only person who can log in and transfer the blog and/or any upgrades to another username account. Thus it’s up to you to proceed as follows below.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.
To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.
Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.
