Changing e-mail address on wordpress.com never completes
-
I’m trying to update my e-mail address on my wordpress.com account, but it never seems to finish processing. I go in to account settings, change the e-mail address and hit submit.
I then receive an e-mail letting me know that a request has been made, and to reply if it was NOT me. I never receive a second e-mail (as described in the documentation) with a confirmation link.
If I sign back in to WordPress.com, I see:
“Your email address has not been updated yet. Please check your inbox at [REDACTED] for a confirmation email.”
Am I missing something? The one confirmation e-mail I received doesn’t have any kind of link to confirm the change. I’ve checked my spam folder, etc., but alas… nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hey Andrew,
It looks like we’re sending the confirmation to the new address, but the email is bouncing and receiving the error “Mailbox Unavailable”. Are you able to receive email at that address?

Thanks for the help, Jeremey. The email should have gone through, but for whatever reason, it didn’t. Instead, I switched to to send to a Gmail address, and boom… it worked.
Thanks for your help!
