Changing e-mail takes too long

I’m changing an e-mail to which my blog is connected to. And it’s PENDING for about 18 hours already. Did I do something wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good :) This thread is already tagged for Staff and they have a backlog. What’s required is your patience because Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread here by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

Hi @migdallive,
In order to complete the email change, you will need to click on the confirmation link that is sent to the new email address. It looks like that email has been sent out several times. Have you received it?
-
Hi, jeremeylduvall.
I did receive a link to the new e-mail and followed it. It led me to the blank wordpress.com page. I tried entering my profile with new e-mail, but it didn’t work out. Then I entered with my old e-mail and it shows that e-mail change is still pending.

Can you try the following?
- Signing into WordPress.com under your current/old login information
- Click the link from the email address or copy and paste the link into the browser window
I believe signing in first will help!
