Changing email accounts
-
I have two accounts registered with WordPress (Email A and Email B). The account linked to Email A has two sites (Site C and Site D). I’ll like to change the Email A to Email B. In short, I want an account with Email B, linked to Site C and Site D. How do I do this?

Hi there,
You can transfer your domain to another account as explained here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
And then you can transfer ownership of the site itself, including the Personal Plan here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
If any of the sites you want to move have paid plans, let us know so we can flag your post for staff attention or you can connect with staff using live chat support.

Hi there,
So you want to switch the emails for the two accounts?
You’ll first need to switch, say account A to a third email address (if you’re using Gmail you can do this by using their built-in alias feature: if the email is example[at]gmail.com, change it to example+temp[at]gmail.com). That will free up Email A so you can change account B to it.
That in turn will free up Email B so you can add it to account A.
The other option is to transfer all your sites to the same account, so they’re all associated with the same email, as explained above.
